BRIEF HISTORY OF MIN NYAMPAY

In 1965, Madrasah was built at Kp. Nyampay Ds. Langensari Lembang Bandung Barat, and then known by the name of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nyampay; that founded by Pendais of district Lembang, elite figure (RT/RW), figure of religion and DKM al-Mubarok.

After that, the evaluation of society towards the existence of this school more positives, that thing are seen from more increase their motivation to send their child to Madrasah. Furthermore, the government through Department of Religion (DEPAG) suggests submitting state. Based on that suggestion, so in 1993, MI Nyampay changed the status becoming State Islamic Elementary School (MIN).

The width of MIN Nyampay is 1.218 m². Geographically, MIN Nyampay is located in road of Tangkuban Parahu precisely at Kp. Nyampay RT 01/ 06, village of Langensari; district of Lembang; regency of West Bandung.

1.    Tool Condition and Infrastructure

Tool and infrastructure are provided for education activity at MIN Nyampay Lembang consist of 10 class rooms, a library room, a multipurpose room, a UKS room, a BP/BK room, a headmaster room, a teacher room, a TU room, a computer laboratory room, a Mushola room, 2 teacher toilet rooms, 2 student toilet rooms and a warehouse.

2.    Teacher and Student Condition

a.     Teacher

The teachers that teach at MIN Nyampay Lembang as much as 32 people, consists of 30 government teachers (PNS) and 2 honorary teachers. Besides that, also there are accounting staff (TU) 2 persons and 1 school security guard.

b.    Student total

In the year 2012-2013, the students total of MIN Nyampay Lembang are 495 students, consists of  237 man students and 258  woman students.

·      Prepare the curriculum that can to fulfill Students need and society

·      Create the students who have skill in technology and information.

 c.    Aim

·      Realize the behavior and noble character.

·      Increase the knowledge and skill which expertise with the student interest and talent.

·      Develop the student’s Islamic personality.

·     Prepare the students continue to higher stage.
